My parents didn’t drink, gamble or do drugs. Their vices were traveling and eating well. And so the allure was handed down. I will, as the name of my blog suggests, pretty much eat anything. I’m partial to meats but will suffer fruits and vegetables.
I originally started this blog because I would take pictures of food while traveling and then come home and wonder what to do with them all. It’s a part chronicle to amuse myself and a part guide to share the foods and sights I’ve encountered from around the world. It’s evolved now to include restaurant reviews closer to home (Calgary) because sadly, I can’t travel all the time.
I’ve been asked why I don’t write about recipes or cooking. It’s not that I don’t love to cook, but there are far too many blogs that cover that much better than I ever could.
I dedicate this to people who love to eat, and find art in their meals. If this blog piques your interest at least once, then I’m happy as a goldfish that eats til it explodes.
Feel free to use my images for non-commercial purposes with a photo credit to myself or my blog. You can contact me at ugonnaeatthat [at] gmail [dot] com. Happy eating!

Wow. Delicious pictures! You captured the art of the meal perfectly with all your shots. And I love reading your comments, straight and to the point.
I live in Vancouver and will definitely check out the Shiru Bay izakaya in Yaletown. The Cambodian restaurant was part of my childhood too, love that dry noodle bowl
Keep up the good work.

Really love your blog.
I am originally from Edmonton, but have recently lived in Toronto and most recently Vancouver. It’s cool seeing some of my favorite restaurants covered here.
Exploring a new city is a wonderful adventure. I’ve learned that the places you dine at are a huge part of that adventure. At the same time, nothing triggers nostalgia like dining at an old-favorite.
I think you really capture these emotions well in your blog. And, at the same time, serve up a really appetizing guide for people wanting to discover new eats.
Keep it up!
